The Revenant

     For my Oscar nominated movie I watched the Revenant featuring Leonardo DiCaprio. It was a pretty okay movie. It took awhile to start however once the plot began it picked up the pace and started getting interesting. The cinematography and CG were very good. The bear looked like it was a real bear they trained to do this movie. The cinematography was breathtaking and I wish I had been able to see it in theater.The characters were 1 dimensional and hard to identify with throughout the movie and felt as if they were only there to support Leonardo and act as plot devices. I would give this movie a 6/10 certainly not as good as critics have claimed.
