apocolypse now

for this assignment i watched apocolypse now, mostly becasue my dad said it was the best war movie out there. i for one, hate war movies. like alot. they suck. they are so sad. i get that they are representing a real thing, and i hate that people are actually going though that. it freaks me out. so this movie was set in the vietnam war. as far as war movies go this one was pretty good. im not a fan of the main actor because i kept thinking it was charlie sheen and he sucks. so that honestly threw me off. i loved the camera angles they used. like in battle at first it was alot of arial shots. so it didnt freak me out to much yet at the same time i got to see what the US soldiers saw. the movie was very slow in the begining i hated the opening scene. but it did a great job showing that soldiers really do struggle after war. it made very sad. very easily. i think th emovie also did a god job at giving characters evryone could relate to and feel for even though viewers probably have no idea hat their situation was like, even so by doing this the movie was more emothional. this movie still isnt one of my favorites but that is just because soldier movies aint my fav. but i did love the dialog. 6/10
