Deadpool
This weekend, I saw Deadpool in theaters. I would consider this movie an action-comedy but it was mostly a comedy. I would not recommend going to this movie with your family because a lot of the comedy is innaprporitate which is obviously why it's rated R. At first, I was unsure if Ryan Reynolds could pull this character off but I soon learned that he fit it perfectly. I thought he did a great job in it and really kept the audience laughing the entire time. Deadpool's sarcasm was the perfect amount of comedy and did not over-do it at all. This movie seemed more realistic than most superhero movies are. People could relate to Ryan Reynolds' character because he still had flaws that kept him human. When I was watching this movie, I really tried to notice the different camera angles and techniques. They used a lot of over-the-shoulder camera angles and also the waist-up angles. The opening scene was very unique. They had a paused shot of a car in an accident and would zoom into different things in the car and each person. I had never seen anything like it before. I really enjoyed this movie and thought it was hilarious. I love Ryan Reynolds and I thought he did an amazing job playing Deadpool. I would rate this movie a 9/10 for comedy.
