For my comedy filmI went to the master of comedy, Adam Sandler, and one of his finest works, Jack and Jill. In case you somehow haven't seen it Jack and Jill is the story of a pairs of twins(both played by Adam Sandler with some relationship issues, namely Jack hates Jill and Jack keeps trying to whore her out to Al Pacino who somehow ended up cast in this film in probably the best performance of his career. If you want proof check out this short clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2S6eUFbOfIU. If that doesn't prove the worth of this film to you i don't know what could. There's not really a lot else to talk about with this film, the camera work and shots were average, not really noticeably bad or good however the editing was phenomenal seamlessly bringing Jack and Jill who were both played by Adam Sandler together into the same shots even touching and physically interacting with each other occasionally. Thematically, this film was very standard for Adam Sandler. He played the workaholic who doesn't care for his family until the end when he realizes their true value reminding us of the ending of click "famillllly, faaamilllly, FAMILY". Overall this was a very standard Adam Sandler with the exception of him pursuing comedy more fit for a film of his like Grown Up. This bathroom humor(2 fart jokes probably composing 5 minutes of the film's run time) was below a film of this caliber but it was bearable. Overall I would rate this movie an 8/10.
