Notting Hill (Comedy)

This week I chose to watch Notting Hill. I thought this film was very well done. It was released at the peak of Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant's careers and they are both phenomonal in it. They do a really good job comedically showing how two people from two completely different worlds can fall in love. I would definitely classify this as a romantic comedy. While the plot was definitely romantic, this scenes that made up the movie were hilarious. One particular scene with paparazzi could have been very dramatic and awful, but they made it hilarious by adding the awkward roommate into the mix. Another thing I really like about this film was the setting. I have been to London, and more specifically Notting Hill, so it was cool to recognize all the places they went during the film. I would probably rate this film a 10/10 because it was not too cheesy, and the comedy was really well done. I would definitely recommend this to anyone else who enjoys a good romantic-comedy.
