When I first heard about this film, I was honestly a little nervous to watch it.  I'm not a Catholic, but it was still concerning since something so abusive was so closely related to my religion.  At the same time, I'm the kind of person who has to know the truth or else things won't sit well with me.  The first thing that I noticed was how great of a cast this was: Mark Ruffalo, Rachel McAdams, Michael Keaton, and even more.  I thought out of all of these actors/actresses Rachel McAdams did the best.  She really displayed the horrific emotion and shock when told about the cases.  She displayed the perfect journalist with a huge wanting to find out more information.  I thought that her character, Sacha, really connected well with the audience (and personally myself) since she struggled with her grandma's Church.  Since I am a Christian, I was shocked at how badly this abuse was.  It shocked me even more when Sacha walked up to a Priest's home and he was acting like it was completely normal if "he didn't find pleasure".  This is a film that displays the amount of irony in the Catholic Church.  I thought the shots were very cool and really went well with the type of movie this was.  It was fast paced when they were finding new information, and slowed down for emotional moments.

I would rate this movie a 10/10 and think everyone needs to watch this.
