Chosen film: Big Demon Promise

For a comedy I took a look at the Short film known as Big Demon Promise. To be honest I had no idea what to expect, the basic plot of a farm boy seeking the help of a redneck demon hunter didn't exactly help much either; but in any case I’d give it a solid 7 of 10. The film itself was written by John Niemiec and performed by Gabriel Caste and himself with the addition of only one small character. The beginning of it was slow for the most part but as it picked up it steadily got better; but this didn't save the story from being somewhat simplistic. In short however it was good in the fact that it was simply funny, nothing complex about it. The filming was beautifully done and if anything was the best thing about it, clean and simple with a pinch of side effects. I’d say in terms of short films this was very well done.
