For the bad movie week, i watched The Ridiculous 6. I was overall expecting the movie to be a lot worse but there were some actually good moments in it. Sure, the writing is pretty lazy and there's no shortage of lowbrow jokes, but it left me pleasantly surprised by the end. There's only one scene that i actually laughed during, and it's when Taylor Lautner's character is being hanged, but his neck is super strong so he just starts swinging around and freaking everybody out. Other than that, scenes varied between absurd heists, "character development", and Adam Sandler's character being too serious for the movie. Every other character is super wacky and has unique talents as a result of their flaws that makes them special, but I think Adam Sandler really wanted to look cool so his character is more serious and actually skilled than everyone else's, which makes the movie suffer a considerable amount. In light of how stupid this movie is, i can't tell why i liked it more than other, better movies. Maybe it was the other actors like Jamie Fox and Steve Buscemi that didn't take the role too seriously, maybe because i watched it late at night with Alec, who knows. 4/10.
