Electric Slide (less than 15% on Rotten Tomatoes)
The electric slide was on of the first timeless party dances I learned. I either learned it in kindergarten class or my mom taught it to me when I was in kindergarten, I can't exactly remember which one. I was really excited when I saw that there is a movie entitled Electric Slide on the rotten, rotten tomatoes list. Unfortunately, I do not even remember the dance so we should totally go over it in class/learn it all together. As far as the movie goes, it has absolutely nothing to do with the electric slide dance itself, in fact, it does not even include the freaking song itself. This film is so irrelevant to the cinematic world that its plot summary on IMDb is entirely "A chronicle of the life of furniture salesman turned bank robber Eddie Dodson." I mean the grammar of that sentence is not even correct, if that is says anything. To make matters even more embarrassing for everyone associated with this movie, it was released in 2014... two years ago. This movie is so bad that it makes the city of Los Angeles (the film's only location) look bad. It's beginning is so slow and drawn out that when I thought I had made it through a good hour or so, only seventeen minutes had gone by. I won't go too in-depth about all of the hilariously-horrible acting, but the thing that annoyed me most about it was the lead's voice. Eddie is played by Jim Sturges, who I had never seen before or heard of, and his character in this film is absolutely terrible, awkward, and disturbing in my opinion. It did make me laugh really hard the first couple of times he spoke, but I eventually became a little annoyed then was unfazed by it. Eddie's girlfriend Pauline, played by Isabel Lucas, is the most confusing character by far. I will not give away any of the other fantastic details because I think everyone should have to sit through this film at some point in their lives, because it really is funny. Somewhat parallel to its 14% on rotten tomatoes I give this film 4.5/10.
