Book to Film

This week I chose to watch the Devil Wears Prada. I didn't know that this was also a book so when I saw it on the list I was excited because I've been wanting to watch this movie for a while. I thought Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway had an amazing performance in this film. They both embodied their characters very well. I obviously have not read the book, but from research I can tell that it stayed very similar to the book. I think that the setting and costume design of the movie was very well done. The high fashion clothes for that time were very accurate. I thought all the shots in the movie were really well done! They were purposeful and showed transitions from scene to scene very well. It kept me entertained and informed the entire movie.
