Schindler's List (Book to Film)

For my book to film movie I chose to watch Schindler's List, which I hadn't know was a book until I looked at a list of the top books to film. Obviously I have never read the book so I do not know how well it compares to the movie. I really thought that this movie was very good. It is a very sad and horrible movie in the sense that it is entirely about Jews in Nazi Czechoslovakia. The story of Schindler's List is pretty powerful. I love the way that Neeson plays Schindler. You can really see Schindler's change in beliefs after he sees the SS liquidate the ghetto that is next to his factory. This movie does a good job of telling the story without it being too horribly visual but still showing how it would have been like in the time period. I really love the way the last scene is done in color instead of black and white as it shows all the living Schindler's Jews and the actors who played them, it was a really clever way to end the movie in my opinion. I'd give this movie a 7.5/10
