Killer Wave-15% or less

I have been looking forward to this week of movie reviews for some time. I watched one, if not the worst, movie I have ever seen, Killer Wave. It received a 15% from rotten tomatoes which makes this movie legal for this review. I will tell you honestly, I could barely sit through this movie, again. This film is about a tidal wave that destroys a city and the origin of it is unknown. After scientists can’t find what caused it, one scientist thinks that it was man made. Some other scientist agrees with him and ends up being murdered right away which in the mind of the first scientist, proves his theory is right. From there they find out the terrorists that made the first wave are planning another. The only way to stop this second wave is to make another wave and make them hit each other and I guess that cancels both of them out. So the scientist that thinks the first wave was manmade drops a bomb to make another one, however he is out in some mid ocean lair, so he’s killing himself by dropping the bomb. This film has some of the worst scenes I have ever seen. In one of them a small fishing boat is traveling up the tidal wave and actually makes it over. The film used a lot of animations for the wave and all the destruction it causes. There are moving shots as well as different angled shots but by no means would I say this film is a respectable example of good film techniques. On top of all of this the film is 3 hours long! The main theme would be battle between the scientist and the terrorists. This movie is awful; I will leave it at that. I would give this movie a 0 out of 10 and would not recommend this movie to anyone unless you want to waste close to 3 hours of your life.
