Forrest Gump

Forrest Gump is a famous movie that everyone had seen except for me. I have seen small parts of it, but I have never watched the entire movie all the way through until this weekend. This film shows how a person with a disability and low IQ can overcome adversity and make a great person out of himself even when all the odds are against him. I have never read the book Forrest Gump and didn't even know that there was a book that was previously written before the movie so I guess that means that the movie was a success while the book was not as good, but good enough to be made into a movie. Overall I would rate this movie a 9/10 and on the rare change that you haven't seen it yet, it is a must see and you have to watch it sometime in your lifetime.
