Son of God

During the break I watched Son of God. I have never seen this movie before and I never really had seen the crucifixion story with my own eyes as I've only really heard about it and never could really see how bad it really was. This movie really opens your eyes about how awful and terrible Jesus had it and gives you a real perspective on how much He suffered and also how much He offered and how he gave hope and purpose to people. They did a great job with how gory and bloody the Crucifixion story really was and I really did not expect it to be as bad as it was, which I am happy about because it portrayed it well. One camera technique that I noticed right away was when Jesus resurrected he had light shining onto him from the background and wore a bright white that glowed to show that His resurrection and importance and how amazing it really was. Overall I would give this movie a 8/10. I really enjoyed it and it was really cool and I would defiantly recommend this movie to a friend.
