Nolan-Inception

This week I watched Inception for my movies by Christopher Nolan. This is absolutely one of my favorite movies I have ever seen. The film is about a journey inside the minds mind. This is achieved through putting people to sleep and infiltrating their dreams. The plot really changes when the people infiltrating the dream then take it one more step by going into another dream while inside of a dream. All of this is in hopes of planting an idea that the dreamer will believe he came up with. The film uses camera angles and camera movement really well through the movie as it follows cars in a chase scene and gives certain characters power by looking up at them and down on others. The ending scene of the film is one of the most memorable as the camera pans to a spinning top that determines whether or not they are in reality. Man vs man is one of the main themes in the film as there are many fight scenes, however, man vs himself is also prevalent as Leonardo DiCaprio struggles with the loss of his wife and finding his own reality. I loved the film and thought it was an incredibly interesting idea for entering dreams and I also thought Nolan did a great job with making the film unique without making it difficult to follow. I would give the film a 10 out of 10 and would recommend it to a friend.
