Cowboys and Aliens

Over this past weekend, I took some time to watch Cowboys and Aliens featuring Daniel Craig. Although it did not receive great ratings from rotten tomatoes or IMDb, I enjoyed it a fair amount. I think that the plot line could have been a lot better, but the special effects used in the film were pretty realistic. I think the way they portrayed the aliens was very impressive, they made them seem much larger then all the humans. There were a few times where dutch angles were used, along with a fair amount of tilt shots. I definitely think that this film is worth watching, but it is not something that I would want to watch over and over again. I also believe that mixing the two polar opposite worlds of cowboys and aliens was an excellent idea. This being said, I do believe that the director could have done more with the idea, but definitely worth watching. I would rate this movie a 6/10
