This week I watched Django Unchained. I thought it was an ok film for Tarentino. The story and acting was amazing, but as far as film production goes I thought it felt like it was a little bit thrown together. Some parts of the movie felt like different episodes, it didn't feel coherent enough. Compared to some of Tarentino's other films, I thought the flow of the movie was lacking. But maybe that was Tarentino's point. The grittiness of the film could go with how it was shot in pieces. I thought the violence in this film was definitely necessary. One part i thought was cool, was when the blood sprayed on the cotton. I thought hat was very significant to the film. I would rate this film and 8/10.
